Qualifications? I am a Nutritionist, Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Certified Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach. I specialize in whole body wellness, and my mission is to help YOU rediscover who you are physically, emotionally, and spiritually, so you can feel whole again.
Throughout my journey of struggling with weight, which began as a child, compounded by childhood traumas, I spent countless years as an adult learning and educating myself to overcome my struggle with weight and emotional eating. This led me to realize that it’s not just physical; there is an emotional and spiritual part in transformation. Knowing this has helped me reconnect spiritually with God; knowing and trusting Him has led me on this path of transformation. I discovered that being healthy consists of the physical, the emotional, and the spiritual, which was key to wholeness as a human being. It’s my desire to help women discover the same for themselves.
My passion for whole body wellness and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit allows me to guide others on their healing journey with confidence. My unwavering commitment to healing empowers YOU to take an active role in your healing journey.
My Story
My intensely emotionally unhappy journey began very early in life. The painful and emotional experiences I’ve had led me to seek comfort in food. Emotional eating became my way of coping with stress, loneliness, and overwhelming emotions. Food was my reliable friend, never judging or abandoning me, but it also became a crutch that isolated me further.
Because of my early unhealthy eating experience, I decided to study nutrition in college. I believed, foolishly, that if I knew how the body works and how food supports the body, I could make food my friend! It worked for many years, and I thought of myself as a “healthy” person, but then life happened. Two divorces later and years of stress in a demanding corporate job that sucked the life out of me, childhood traumas reared their ugly heads, and yes, there is always more than one, I reached a breaking point. I knew I needed to make a change, but didn’t know where to begin.
I realized I wasn’t the healthy person I believed I was, so I set out on a journey of self-discovery that included my emotional, physical, and spiritual self. I put my trust in God, knowing that He had a higher plan for me, and took a leap of faith into the unknown.
Driven by a desire to transform my life, I immersed myself in my studies, experiencing profound changes on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. This journey confirmed to me that it wasn’t just about food; there were other components I hadn’t considered—there was an emotional and spiritual component as well.
As I delved deeper into my education, I saw the incredible potential for helping people like me to transform their lives. The tools and techniques I learned not only revolutionized my own relationship with food but also empowered me to guide others on their journeys to health and wellness.

My Clients
It might be difficult to begin openly expressing your gratitude when you’re used to focusing on the negative. If that’s the case for you, start with something simple like giving thanks for your health and self-expression to get in the habit of expressing how thankful you are.

This doesn’t have to mean that everything in your life is perfect – that’s likely not the case. However, it’s important to begin seeing those negative pieces of your life in a positive light. How are they working to change you? Are they pushing you in a direction you never thought you’d go before? How are they working to mold you into the person you want to be? Try to remember that everything in your life, whether it be good or bad, is molding you, changing you, and can work to better you if you let it!

If it’s hard to start expressing your gratitude with a blanket expression like this, then begin focusing on individual items.
Give thanks for a roof over your head, food on the table, and clothes on your back. Give thanks for the air you’re breathing,
your family, or a good book. Start small, and work your way up!
